it was the end of a study day. we were all sitting around the dining room table bumming together. a rare moment for me as i'm never home. i was eating peanut butter and chocolate ice cream.
elaine: "you ask her."
stacey: "no you ask her."
pause
i looked up and thought it was about bills or something.
elaine: "so who are the tulips in your room from?"
i smiled and smirked and toyed with the idea of fabricating some unbelievable story, but in the end the truth came out. the tulips were a thank you from jen, and the others were leftover centrepieces from the banquet. it was a fun bonding moment. haha oh girls, if i had hooked up with someone the house would have been filled with squeals of delight and excitement. nevertheless flowers are always beautiful and uplifting. they are a sweet and much needed reminder of God's love and grace.

you do however have purple and white flowers which are beautiful. so i guess you one-upped me.
those tulips do look tremendously familiar... i think there were tons left over from the centrepieces at the f-din.
